CCI Construction was founded in 1984 by the combined efforts of Len Schaeding Sr., Len Schaeding Jr., and Dave Nelson. The initial primary focus was on small scale residential projects. In a very short period of time the projects grew larger as work started shifting from residential to commercial construction. During the greater half of the 1980’s and in to 2000's CCI was performing many projects for the expanding Wolohan Lumber company. Work was now taking CCI out of Mid-Michigan and into such as Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and throughout the state of Michigan. In 1990 the decision was made to move to is current location on M-46 between Hemlock and Saginaw. CCI continued with commercial construction and started branching into educational and civil projects. Opportunities and work has taken CCI ands employees to places from just around the corner to as far away as California. In recent years CCI has developed other services in the construction industry. CCI Construction has grown to an established business that has the ability to handle any project.
