Project Summary
We were the Construction Manager for this project which consisted of the site development of a four acre parcel on the corner of Main and Franklin Streets in Frankenmuth, MI. This site previously housed Universal Tool which had been demolished before we started the project. During construction several foundations, some which pre-dated Universal Tool, along with unstable soils were encountered on the site. These conditions made for some interesting conditions which required the project scheduled to be revised and required coordination between the various subcontractors, the owner, and future owners’ representatives.
The completed site is currently home of Signature Bank; Tim Horton’s and has two vacant parcels that can accommodate restaurants or retail developments. Our services included value engineering, construction staking, quality control, testing, construction management and coordinating the design of the site utilities in conjunction with Consumers Energy, AT & T, and the City of Frankenmuth.
